Head Coach Zenarae Antoine will be stepping down from her position as head coach following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season.
Antoine finishes with a 225-232 career record at Texas State over 15 seasons where she will leave with the most wins in program history as head coach.
"Texas State Athletics thanks Zenarae Antoine for leading our women's basketball program and for her immeasurable contributions to the university over the past 15 seasons," Director of Athletics Don Coryell said. "Coach Antoine played a pivotal role in elevating the program and guiding the Bobcats to new levels of success during her tenure. We are deeply appreciative of her dedication to the university, TXST Athletics, and the many student-athletes she mentored during her time at the helm. We wish Zenarae, Ronald and their family all the best moving forward.
"TXST Athletics is entering an important era in its history, as not only a foundational member of the new Pac-12 Conference but also across the broader landscape of college athletics. Our focus remains on positioning our programs to compete at the highest level within the conference and nationally, and we are committed to investing the resources necessary to achieve our goals."
Antoine led the Bobcats to a regular season conference championship during the 2022-2023 season and two appearances in the Women’s National Invitational Tournament.
This season, the Bobcats finished with an 11-19 overall record and a first round exit in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
Texas State will enter a new era as the Bobcats will move into the Pac-12 Conference, joining Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah State and Washington State.
