The Rattlers finished play over the weekend at the San Marcos Spring Break Tournament where San Marcos finished with a 2-3 record.
San Marcos improves to 8-11 for the season.
San Marcos started play against Weimar on Thursday where the Rattlers rallied from a 7-1 deficit to win 8-7.
Juliana Garcia earned the win in the circle, shutting out Weimar in the top of the seventh inning. A’Kyia Spillers went 2-2 from the plate with three RBIs, including a triple in the win.
The Rattlers defeated Weimar again on Friday, winning 11-1. Arianna Flores led the offense going 1-3 with three RBIs. Selena Silva had the lone extra base hit for the Rattlers with an RBI triple.
Rae Ybarra earned the win throwing three innings with three strikeouts.
San Marcos’ three losses came against Shiner [9-3], Houston Kincaid [5-3] and San Antonio Southwest [71].
The Rattlers are back in district play where San Marcos will take on New Braunfels Canyon Tuesday night.
First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Canyon.
