HAYS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
The Rotary Club of San Marcos hosts a presentation by Hays County Commissioner Morgan Hammer on Wednesday, March 25. Hammer is the elected Commissioner for Hays Precinct 3 and will discuss current issues in the county, including water concerns.
Rotary meets at noon at the VFW Hall at 1701 Hunter Road. Visitors are always welcome at Rotary meetings.
Hammer began her term as Commissioner in 2025 and says her focus is on responsible stewardship of county resources, public safety, infrastructure, water sustainability, and transparent communication with constituents.
Professionally, Morgan is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, where she helps individuals and families with investment strategies, retirement planning and financial goal setting. She says her experience at Edward Jones brings fiscal insight into her role in local government.

A longtime resident of Hays County and graduate of the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University, Morgan is active in community leadership and nonprofit work, including local professional and service organizations.
Rotary is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and nonreligious organization. Rotary clubs do service work in their communities and through the Rotary Foundation, they engage in a wide variety of projects around the world.
