LIVE EVENTS

Despite it being Friday the 13th, the Just for Fun Parade organizers hit the jackpot, raising a hefty sum to support the parade and keep the festivities rolling. The community came out and gave freely from their wallets to ensure the parade would hit the streets, donating $1,842. The Funraiser was held at Davenport and had live music by Attic Ted, Fogdart and TrumpCard, as well as costumes “just for fun.”

The parade will line up at 10 a.m. on April 25 at the San Marcos Mural, 110 E. Martin Luther King Dr. The parade will hit the streets at 11 a.m. There will be an afterparty at the Showdown, 207 E. Hutchison St.
