Camp Gladiator, The Shift Nutrition, and Buda Dental Specialty Group are partnering with EVO Entertainment to host the “ONE TRACK. ONE PURPOSE” event of field day games on March 28 to benefit Buda’s Brightside, a facility serving adults with special needs.
The event will take place from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at EVO Entertainment Kyle Crossing. Proceeds from the event will benefit Buda’s Brightside, helping expand programs and support the development of a new facility.
This event will feature local chambers of commerce members and/or families of four going head-to-head in teams in a series of classic field day games and team challenges.
Teams of four will compete for bragging rights, while also building camaraderie and spirit among local businesses. Camp Gladiator will charge an entry fee for each team, with 100% of the proceeds donated directly to Buda’s Brightside, supporting their ongoing work in the community.
The “ONE TRACK. ONE PURPOSE” field day competition will feature teams of four competing in a series of classic field day games and team challenges designed to test teamwork, energy, and community spirit. The event is open to anyone ages 10 years and older from Hays County and surrounding communities, making it a fun and inclusive experience for families, friends, and local organizations.
“We wanted to create something lighthearted yet meaningful — an event where our Chambers can connect outside of boardrooms and networking mixers, while giving back in a big way to adults with special needs and their families,” said Carolina Sisti, representative from Camp Gladiator.
“This is about bringing people together, encouraging teamwork, and reminding us that when businesses collaborate, everyone wins —especially when it benefits an important cause like Buda’s Brightside,” added Laqueetia Mathis, CEO of The Shift Nutrition.
Participation 0ptions include: Individual: $15.18; Couples: $ 28.52; Team of Three: $ 41.86; Team of Four: $ 55.20 In addition to the competition, spectators and participants can enjoy a lively morning atmosphere with music, food, family-friendly activities, and raffle prizes. The event aims to build camaraderie among local businesses, residents, and community leaders while raising funds for Buda’s Brightside to create inclusive spaces and programs for adults with developmental disabilities.
