Rosie the Riveter became an iconic symbol of the American women who filled industrial and defense jobs during World War II, representing more than six million workers on the home front. Her image continues to honor women’s strength, patriotism, and essential contributions to the war effort. National Rosie the Riveter Day is observed on March 21, and Maurice T. Suttles VFW Post 3413 Auxiliary recognized the occasion early on March 19 by dressing up as Rosie during their meeting night.
