The rain didn’t stop people from clowning around at Triple Six Social last weekend for the second annual Glurpo Fest. The event is named after the underwater performer from the original mermaid shows at Spring Lake, and it now serves as a chance for clowns across the community to gather.
The event emcee was Atom Von Arndt. There was live music by The NSDR, Bi-curious George, Attic Ted and Industrial Goth DJ Traz Ion. There were “sideshow” performances by Schitzo Tha Klown, Jack, Nauzha, Count Honkula, Harper Marx, XO and Giddy Up. There were also local artisans selling goods during the show.
