Get your most colorful outfit, don a wig or silly hat or strap on a pair of skates and head down to 110 E. Martin Luther Drive on Saturday morning with some bubbles and a smile because a very special parade is coming to town — all in the name of a good time.
The 49th annual Just for Fun Parade is set to take off from the San Marcos Mural at 11 a.m. Lineup starts at 10 a.m. The after-party will be at Showdown, 207 E. Hutchison Street. That’s probably where I will eat lunch and have a beer because they have the best burgers in town; that’s not even my opinion. It’s a fact. Have a blast, get a burger and take an uber if you plan to have a little too much fun.
