Saturday is jam packed with fun stuff, which is when both of my events will occur. The city of San Marcos is hosting a Migratory Bird Festival at the Discovery Center from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. I have gotten really into bird watching in my 30s, and have noticed the huge spike in diversity and amount of birds as of late. This is the perfect time to go to a festival geared toward celebrating these diverse species and their journey through our area.
The second Saturday event is a punk show at Sean Patrick’s starting at 7 p.m. There will be music by local bands The Schisms, The Belgraves and TrumpCard outside on the porch, and they will be playing the UFC fight inside. Grab a beer and some Irish grub and enjoy the show!
