CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
The Leadership San Marcos class of 2026 recently completed their program.
According to the website, “Leadership San Marcos promotes community awareness, personal and professional growth and civic involvement for tomorrow‘s leaders.” Over a two-year period, each class studies the past, present and future needs of this community, and establishes a service project that must be completed by the conclusion of the program.
Jennifer Rogers, Leadership San Marcos board outgoing president and incoming vice president, highlighted the 2026 classes community impacts.
“This class raised $10,000 to support School Fuel and Teacher Reuse - two organizations making a meaningful difference for students and educators,” Rogers said. “The majority of these funds are raised through a highly successful trivia night supported by generous raffle items and donations from local businesses.”
The graduating class included Haley Brooks, CASA of Central Texas, Nadine Cesak, city of San Marcos, Ray Deleon, Real Estate Broker, Jiro DeLoach, Frost Bank, Andrew Evrenos, Hart Properties, Joey Jarkrider, Green Guy Recycling, Jordan Schaefer, Kimley-Horn, and Brian Stovall, Icon Leisure.
