Sights & Sounds of Christmas featured on Cooking Channel

Sights and Sounds of Christmas announced it was recently featured on an episode of Carnival Eats. Carnival Eats features host Noah Cappe as he travels in search of the fried, battered, and exciting foods featured on fairgrounds across America.

Season 7, Episode 4: Gordita, Pray, Love features the lights, fun, and food of Sights and Sounds. Cappe crunched into a Porco Loco Gordita with Johnny Joe’s Concessions; fried it up with a Lada Role Duo made by the Lada Ladies;  heated things up with the Boys and Girls Club Cheetah Cheer Team and a Feelin’ Hot Hot Dog; and got a sugar rush with Sugar Rush.

"It was exciting to have Noah and the Carnival Eats team at Sights and Sounds of Christmas," said Sights and Sounds Foundation President Tommy Curtis. "People often forget that Sights and Sounds has an incredible food scene. I think they did a great job highlighting it while still capturing the small-town charm of the event we all know and love."

“Filming Carnival Eats was quite an adventure! It was pouring and absolutely freezing, but we were able to stay professional and ensure our segment came out great! The Carnival Eats crew were so helpful and amazing, they made filming the segment easy,” said Elaine Lira-Dean, the Owner/Operator of Lada Ladies.

The first showing was on Thursday night but there are three more opportunities to catch the show: Friday at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at 4 p.m. and Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
