One of the many things your true community radio station is pleased to be able to provide is diversity in our program schedule. Some of our most listened to programs are comprised of commentary, interviews and discussions. We strive to keep our community informed and entertained. Most of our live broadcast hours are of music of various genres and cultures. Between the music, the information, the discussions and interviews, we try to provide everyone with an opportunity to illuminate another thread in the fabric of our community. That is the beauty of community radio.
We are happy to announce our return to Third Thursday’s KZSM Kissing Alley Concert series! In case you haven’t heard, we will kick off our return with Ace Pepper and the Revs from 6 till 9 p.m. Afterwards, when the music has died, come join us for Karaoke After Hours and make some music of your own! We will be there until midnight unless it comes down to us singing to ourselves.
Metal Mark is at it again! No, this time it’s Rock and Roll! Plans have been set for KZSM to be at the Gardens of AquaBrew on Sept. 27 and 28 for our FIRST ever KZSM Rockin’ Food Drive and Benefits Festival. We have just put out a call for Rock and Hard Rock bands to contact us if interested in performing. Admission to the event will be non-perishable food items to benefit the Hays County Food Bank. AquaBrew has agreed to provide food and drink specials. More details will be forthcoming as they develop. Please join us. Support local music, local business, the Hays County Food Bank, and your true community radio station.
