A man was found dead in a drainage creek near Veterans Park on Saturday, San Marcos Police said.
On Tuesday, San Marcos Police Department officials released the identity of the victim in Saturday’s homicide as Charles William Lauria II, 57.
The victim’s name was previously being held until next of kin was notified.
