The San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Monday.
The board is set to take action on a multitude of items. First items up for action are the approval of resolution requesting extracurricular status for 4-H and approval of adjunct faculty.
The trustees will consider approval of budget amendments. The board will then consider nominating candidates to the Board of Directors of the Caldwell County Appraisal District and the Guadalupe Central Appraisal District.
The board will consider approval of a resolution authorizing tax resale of foreclosed property suite No. 4689.
The trustees will consider an acceptance of donation from the City of San Marcos for a surplus of mobile radios, which are slated to be used in case of emergencies.
The board will consider approval of facility usage waiver for Community Action GED Program, tuition rate for 2019-2020 Pre-Kindergarten program, and design development for DeZavala Elementary.
The trustees will hear presentation, discuss and take possible action regarding Hogg Foundation Texas Communities Count request for proposals. They will then receive an update, discuss and take possible action regarding Crossroads Program relocation and proposed facilities improvements. They will have a presentation, discuss and take possible action regarding Seedlings Mentoring Program.
The board will then go into closed session to hold a discussion regarding Superintendent’s evaluation. The trustees will discuss posting of Assistant Superintendent for Business and Support Services position and then hold a discussion regarding San Marcos High School Assistant Principal.
The board will reconvene in open session and take possible action on closed session items if necessary.
Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at San Marcos High School — 2601 Rattler Rd. — inside the criminal justice classroom.
