A shooting has been reported near the 600 block of Mill Street at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
The incident occured near Bobcat Village according to Texas State University Police. Texas State UPD originally said the incident occurred near the 1600 block of Mill Street but corrected the address to 600 block in a later Tweet. The suspect left the area in a gray Mazda, police said.
No further information is available.

The Mill Street incident did not occur on TXST-SM campus. It is an active and ongoing San Marcos PD investigation. As we receive info and permission from SMPD, we will share. If the situation changes or there is a possibility of danger to campus, a notification will be sent.
