Pumpkin patch set to arrive at FUMC

Even though the weather doesn’t feel like it yet — it is officially Fall. The pumpkin patch is coming to First United Methodist Church at the beginning of October.

The FUMC loves this time of year and how the community gathers in the courtyard for fall photo opportunities.

The pumpkins are set to arrive on Sunday, Oct. 6th. The church is looking for volunteers to help unload a semi-truck full of pumpkins, gourds, and straw. Those that are able to help should come dressed to get dirty. Water and pizza will be provided for all that volunteer.

The patch will be open for photos as soon as unloading is complete  and during daylight hours from Oct. 7-31.

Hours for purchasing pumpkins are noon - 8 p.m. Sunday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturdays until Halloween or as long as supplies last.

Seventy percent of the profits from the FUMC pumpkin patch go to the San Marcos Youth Council and the remaining 30 percent to support mission trips.
