The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, (VFW) is an organization for members that have served in the U.S. military overseas and is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. The Veterans of Foreign Wars was established by James C. Putnam on September 29, 1899, in Columbus, Ohio. Every year on September 29, VFW Day is celebrated at Posts around the world. This year marks the 120th year since the VFW was established. Maurice T, Suttles VFW Post 3413 and Auxiliary had a birthday party at their Friday morning breakfast with cupcakes.
