San Marcos CISD to hold regular meeting Monday

The San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Monday and consider issuing bonds in one or more series.

SMCISD will consider order authorizing the issuance of SMCISD unlimited tax refunding bonds in one or more series; entering into escrow agreements, bond purchase agreements and paying agent/registrar agreements; delegating to certain district administrative staff and officers the authority to approve all final terms of the bond; and other related matters.

During the regular meeting, trusteed will also consider approval of consent agenda items.

Trustees will consider a resolution amending authorized representatives for Texpool and First Public/ Lone Star.

According to information provided by SMCISD, Texpool and First Public/Lone Star are two two of the public funds investment pools designated to invest District funds.

In other business, trustees will consider approval of targeted improvement plans.

Likewise the board will discuss and take possible action to approve the hiring of an additional teacher and instructional assistant teacher at Bonham Pre-K due to an increase in student enrollment.

Trustees will also consider approval of budget amendments

Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at San Marcos High School — 2601 Rattler Road — in the Criminal Justice Classroom.
