San Marcos’ Main Street Program will host a free Trick-or-Treat event on Saturday from 12-3 p.m. on the historic Hays Courthouse lawn.
The family event will feature participating businesses handing out candy and will offer Halloween-themed specials. Saturday’s activities include temporary tattoos, a bone dig, witches brew, face painting, a craft table, spooky experiments in Kissing Alley hosted by the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) and a photo booth.
There will also be a “build your own candy apple” station for kids and tours of a San Marcos Fire Truck.
The event sponsored by the San Marcos Main Street Program and local businesses takes place at 111 East San Antonio St. and promotes a safe and fun environment for families and kids.
