Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) has added the latest da Vinci Xi® surgical robotic system to the Emmett and Miriam McCoy Institute for Robotic Surgery.
The da Vinci Xi® System has broader capabilities than prior generations of the da Vinci System. It can be used across a wide spectrum of minimally invasive surgical procedures and has been optimized for complex, multi-quadrant surgeries.
“Our goal is to always provide the best care possible for our patients. To do so, we need to stay on top of technological advances,” said CTMC President/CEO Anthony Stahl. “Adding the new da Vinci Xi® allows our surgeons to work with top-of-the-line tools to provide our patients better outcomes.”
