U.S. Sen. Cornyn to speak at Texas National Guard Deployment Ceremony

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn will speak at the Texas National Guard’s 4-133rd Field Artillery Deployment Ceremony inside San Marcos Toyota Rattler Stadium on Saturday. 

Approximately 350 Guardsmen of the 4-133rd Field Artillery will deploy to the Middle East. Cornyn will deliver remarks to the deploying soldiers and their families and friends during the ceremony. Saturday’s event will feature a flyover by the Commemorative Air Force and musical performances by a San Marcos High School student and the 36th Infantry Division Band. 

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at 2601 Rattler Rd.
