The San Marcos City Council will consider several items at their meeting on Dec. 3.
On Tuesday, council will meet at City Hall — 630 E. Hopkins St. — at 6 p.m.
Council will reconsider providing a resolution of no objection to the submission of an application for low income housing tax credits to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for the proposed Lantana on Bastrop Multifamily Housing Project. At their last meeting, council postponed a decision on the affordable housing project.
In other business, council will consider approving a resolution that would approve the award of a Predevelopment Services Agreement with Hunt Companies, Inc. in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,500,000 for pre-development services relating to the new Public Services Complex.
Likewise, council will consider approval of a Change in Service with Recreation Engineering and Planning for bidding assistance and construction inspection services for the Rio Vista Falls Repair Project in an amount not to exceed $42,600.00.
Council will discuss and consider appointments or reappointments to Positions One, Four, Eight and Nine of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Number 4 — Paso Robles (now known as Kissing Tree) Board of Directors.
Council will discuss and consider appointments or reappointments to Positions One and Five of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) No. 5 (Downtown) Board of Directors.
Council will consider the appointment of a city council member to the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) Clean Air Coalition.
During their work session at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, council will receive a staff presentation and hold discussion regarding the Hays Central Appraisal District’s appraisal process, tax ceilings and exemptions, and provide direction to the city manager.
