South Hays Fire Department to host Breakfast with Santa

The South Hays Fire Department is hosting its first Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday. 

The event will take place at South Hays Fire Station No. 12 — 8301 Ranch Road 12 — from 9-11 a.m. 

“We just want to reach out to the community and know the community better,” said Ramero Camarillo, a health and safety officer with the South Hays Fire Department. “As well as we want the community to know us and what we have to offer. A lot of times the only time the community sees us is during tragedy. This is just our way of saying thank you.” 

Santa will ride in on a fire truck. There will be breakfast burritos, hot cocoa and crafts for kids.
