Jimmy Don Hall

Jimmy Don Hall age 65 was born November 21 1954 in Marks MS, Jim went to his heavenly home on December 14, 2019. He moved to Michigan with his mother and siblings when he was 16 years old. There he attended Bendel High in Burton, Mott and later Midwestern Bible College. He was a member of Twin Cities Baptist Church in Grand Blanc MI and that is were he met his wife of 43 years, Julie Anna Smith, at the annual New Years Eve party. Just over a year later they married at Twin Cities Baptist. Together they have 3 children Matthew Don (wife Alisha) of San Marcos, Shawna Marie of Lockhart and Benjamin Charles of Austin, 3 amazing grandchildren whom their “Papa” adored, Chloe Marie, Ethan Don, and Katherine Nicole. In 2007 Jim and Julie moved to TX, he loved living in TX. Jim was a happy person, he loved to spend time with family and friends laughing, kidding, cutting up. He enjoyed gardening and loved roses. He loved to watch the morning sunrise. He loved Jesus and had a passion to tell others about how receiving the savior changed his life. He also leaves behind siblings Cathy Bowling, Paul Hall Jr, and Sandy Fredel all of MI. He is preceded in death by father Paul E Hall Sr, mother Ruth E Wright Little and youngest sister Maryann.

Visitation and viewing will be held from 5 to 7 o’clock Thursday evening December 19th at Martindale Baptist Church 12351 Hwy 143 Martindale TX. The funeral will be Friday December 20th at 10 a.m., also at the Martindale Baptist Church. A luncheon will be served at the church following the burial. He will be laid to rest at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Services and arrangements are being handled by Legends Tri County funeral home San Marcos TX.
