A car collided with a gravel truck Monday morning.
The San Marcos Fire Department responded to the motor vehicle collision at approximately 7:38 a.m.
According to a witness, the driver of the car pulled onto the northbound Interstate 35 frontage road, south of Yarrington Road, when the vehicle hit an 18-wheeler carrying gravel. Firefighters had to extricate the driver of the vehicle, according to SMFD. His injuries were not life threatening, officials said.
