On January 11, 2020, Margarita Cortez Rodriguez left this earth to be with her heavenly father. She is preceded in death by her husband Cirildo O. Rodriguez, parents Carlos and Nicolasa Cortez and sisters Maria Cortez Balandran and Lupita Cortez.
She will be missed dearly by her children: son Mingo C. Rodriguez, Sr., daughter Ofelia R. Mendoza, husband Cele, daughter Avelina R. Sandoval, husband John, son Salvador Rodriguez, Sr. wife, Gloria, son James C. Rodriguez, daughter Josie R. Cordero, son Benito Rodriguez, Sr., 24 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Margarita was born October 17, 1924 and was a life-long of San Marcos, TX.
