Norma Jean De La Rosa

Norma Jean De La Rosa, age 56, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2020. She was born August 09, 1963 in Shreveport, LA to Guillermo and Antonia De La Rosa.

Norma was a blast of energy! She always looked at the brighter side of everything. Norma had an amazing memory and we would always ask her for phone numbers, birthdays, you name it, she remembered it! She was our own personal index! She loved her Dallas Cowboys and her Atlanta Braves. She watched all of their games no matter if they won or lost. He didn’t know it but her “hubby” was the gorgeous Vince Gill. Her ultimate favorite show was her Wheel of Fortune, which we better have had on for her right at 6:30pm. Our Nana had such a huge heart. No matter what obstacles stood in her way she fought very hard. She was never a quitter. She wanted to go out on her own terms and her own way. We love you Nana and we are happy you’re not in pain and are our guardian angel now.

Norma is survived by her sister and husband, Roxane D. Morales and Steven Morales Sr. Sister and husband, Esmeralda “Mimmie” and Clavio “Lalo” Gonzales, Sister, Barbara Gonzales and sister, Denise Tristan. Nephews, Trey Corpus, Curtis Gonzales, Travis Gonzales, Kenneth Gonzales, Jeremy Tristan, Steven Morales Jr, Anthony Tristan, and Gabriel Tristan. Nieces, Ashley Miller,  Neddie Morales, Emerald Gonzales, and Salome Morales. Great Nephew, David W. Jordan III.
