The San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (SMMUF) volunteered to take care of keeping the landscape maintained on the two medians at the southern end of Craddock Avenue as part of the City’s plan to ask volunteers to adopt medians the length of the Craddock Avenue from Bishop Street to Old Ranch Road 12. One of the medians that SMUUF adopted is adjacent to SMUUF owned property there that is planned as their future church home of SMUUF.
Dan Gibson, Leader of the Facilities and Grounds Committee said, “We pulled weeds, pruned, spread mulch and picked up trash to fill many bags. This work will continue several weekends each quarter to get the job done.”
