County reports 2 new COVID-19 cases; H-E-B employee tests positive for disease

Hays County reported two additional cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, raising the total to 61 cases. 

The county currently has 43 active cases, has received 417 negative tests and has nine pending tests. The amount of residents who have recovered from the disease increased Tuesday from 16 to 18. Seven county residents have been hospitalized from the illness, including two current hospitalizations. 

San Marcos and Kyle both have had 21 total cases. Kyle has 16 active cases, while San Marcos has 15. Buda has recorded 12 total cases and has eight active cases. Austin, within Hays County, has had four total cases and has two active cases. Dripping Springs has tallied two total cases and has one active case. Wimberley has only seen one active case.
