Janis Baker Holland

Janis Baker Holland was born January 30th, 1942 to Arval and Mae Baker in Austin,Texas. Raised in a Christian home, Jan was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age, she was quick to witness for Christ and never gave up the faith. Jan attended Austin public schools and met and married Frank Holland in 1957 with three children coming from this union. Jan will be laid to rest beside her mother and father at a private ceremony at a later date. The family would like to thank Jan’s close friends and the staff and doctors at Texas Oncology for their years of love and support. Jan is survived by her husband Frank, brother Arval Baker jr., Aunt Ruth and uncle JB Smith, children Brenda, Brian, and Brad, grandchildren Amanda, Colbey, Sydnee and Dylan, great-grandchild Landyn, cousins Mary Gayle, Sandy, Linda, Ellen and many other close friends in Texas and the Bahamas. Jan will be missed by all for her colorful laughter, her positive attitude, and her wonderful smile.
