San Marcos fell to New Braunfels, 4-1, on Friday night inside San Marcos Toyota Rattler Stadium.
The Rattlers gave up three goals in the opening half, but they put together a stronger second half, where each team scored a goal.
“I thought we played a very good second half,” head coach Lisa Mazur said. “I think if we played both halves like we played the second half, I think it would be good for us. We’d have a better game. I thought they worked really hard in the second half.”
