An early morning house fire Friday in Buda resulted in the death of one female.
According to Buda Fire/ Emergency Services District (ESD) #8 Chief Clay Huckaby, the fire department and Buda EMS/ESD #2 were dispatched to the 400 block of Overlook Mountain West at about 6:20 a.m.
Huckaby said crews arrived on scene to a fully engulfed residential structure fire where flames and smoke were visible from all sides and the roof.
