Developing: SMPD responds to shooting at Redpoint apartments

The San Marcos Police Department responded to a shooting at Redpoint San Marcos Saturday evening. 

The apartment complex, located at 650 River Rd., was formerly The Woods of San Marcos. 

No further information is available at this time, according to a City of San Marcos spokesperson.
