Texas State University's chapter of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology lit the Performing Arts Center red on Tuesday as a part of national event to spread awareness of the live events industry struggles amid the COVID-19 pandemic. According to We Make Events North America, over 2,000 venues, buildings, architectural structures, arenas, businesses across the county participated in the event.
