Daphne Tenorio, Democrat, is running for election for the position of Hays County Tax Assessor-Collector. Her prior civil service position was with the Kyle City Council for five years.
Tenorio has worked in accounting from a young age working for her mother’s CPA firm. Tenorio has also served as a board member for the Texas Municipal League, a committee member for the National League of Cities, the president of the Association of Hispanic Municipal Officials and a graduate of the Texas Municipal League’s Leadership Academy.
