She was born December 28, 1939 in San Marcos, Texas to R. B. and Vera Bowden.
Marijoye loved her family and always put them first. She had her funny quotes and sayings in her southern accent and would always get her point across. She was in the banking industry for over 50 years and in her spare time she liked working crossword puzzles. Her all-time favorite actor was Tom Selleck and her favorite singer was George Strait.
