The Rotary Club of San Marcos awarded $35,000 in scholarships, ranging from $1,500 to $2,000, to 17 San Marcos High School seniors on April 24. Students at Travis Elementary School raised $850 for a scholarship for a SMHS senior who had earlier attended Travis, with Rotary matching their gift.
