Antoine wins Sun Belt Coach of the Year; Hood, Taylor named to All-Conference Team
After claiming a share of the Sun Belt Conference regular season championship, Texas State head coach Zenarae Antoine was named the 2022-23 Sun Belt Coach of the Year. Da’Nasia Hood and Kennedy Taylor were named All-Sun Belt as the conference office announced its end-of-season awards for women’s basketball Monday.

Running in the right place
Summer is just around the corner and for a majority of people that is when vacations are scheduled. Vacation time varies with different individuals. Some stay home and take on projects to repair the home or yard while others plan on visiting relatives, a sea shore or the mountains, or even visit another country. For the athletic person it probably started in high school when you visited another town to play a game. If you played in college you probably had the opportunity to travel to another state. If you were talented enough to make a National Team you may visit another country.

AUSTIN - For the first time since 2002, the San Marcos Rattlers boy’s basketball is advancing to the regional quarterfinals. The Rattlers will now face San Antonio powerhouse Reagan Rattlers on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Multiple Texas State Athletes take home gold at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships
Daniel Harrold, Sedrickia Wynn, Dominick Yancy, and the men’s 4x400 relay each won individual conference championships, including two by Wynn, as Texas State closed out the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships at the Birmingham Crossplex on Tuesday.
