Sherrell Lynn Hazlewood
Sherrell Lynn Hazlewood died August 26, 2021, in San Marcos, Texas. Born on September 16, 1932, in Dothan, Texas to Ida Jane Donaway Hazlewood and R.C. Hazlewood, Sr., he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years, Theda Rhea Bucy Hazlewood, his parents and grandparents, and several cousins. He is survived by brothers Donald (Carol Tewes) Hazle wood of San Marcos, Texas, and R. Charles (Stephanie Secrest) Hazlewood, Jr. of Round Rock Texas, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He served honorably in the Army during the Korean conflict. He and his wife lived in many beautiful places in the Southwest, and for more than 30 years he taught Spanish to high school students. He was also a welder and manager in the petroleum industry, professional photographer and artist, and a devoted husband, brother, and uncle. 09/05/2021 05:00 AM
