A couple of us old timers were talking about some of the races that we could recall here in San Marcos. I started to write down some of the different locations that various organizations have held a race. The city of San Marcos and the San Marcos Police Officers’ Association are in new formal negotiations to discuss issues related to wages, hours of employment and other terms and conditions of employment, some of which have generated wide public involvement, for city police officers.
