Wimberley Valley Museum to host Harvest Moon Dinner and Dance Nov. 6
Wimberley Institute of Cultures (WIC) will host its Harvest Moon Dinner and Dance on Sunday, Nov. 6. Taking place at the Historic Fischer Hall, 701 Fischer Store Road in Fischer, this event will feature a dinner catered by Old 300 BBQ from Blanco. Immediately following dinner Eric Hokkanen & Friends will provide the music for dancing under the full harvest moon. The event will also feature a silent auction. 10/09/2022 05:00 AM

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and we hope to educate our community on this very important issue Locally, the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center has been serving victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and child abuse since 1978. Last year, HCWC served 2,055 victims of abuse (face-to-face) primarily from Hays and Caldwell Counties. 816 of those were victims of domestic violence. 10/09/2022 05:00 AM
