Kissing Tree, the first baby-boomer centric community from Brookfield Residential, recently won a Gold Award for Best Brochure for a Master-Planned Community at the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) The Nationals awards. The award program recognizes superior new home sales and marketing achievements, with 61 categories across various disciplines of the new home industry honoring excellence in product and community design, advertising, marketing and sales achievements by individuals and sales teams.

In addition to its Gold Award, Kissing Tree received six Silver Awards in various categories, including:

  • Master-Planned Community of the Year
  • Best Social Media Campaign
  • Best Sales/Welcome Center
  • Best Special Promotion
  • Best 30-60 Second Commercial
  • Marketing Professional of the Year: Tabitha Walsh

“We are so pleased our team’s hard work has been recognized on a national level,” Tammy Schneider, vice president of sales and marketing at Brookfield Residential Texas, said. “We brought an innovative and fresh approach to the active adult industry, and we’re thrilled to be recognized by The Nationals in such important categories.”

Silver Award winners are the top vote recipients in each category and are the finalists for the Gold Award. Gold Awards in each category were announced as part of the International Builders' Show on Feb. 19 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

"The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovations in new home design, marketing and sales," Kelly Fink, chairperson of the Nationals, said. "NAHB's commitment to recognizing originality, imagination and success has been exemplified by its award winners since the competition's inception."

During a three-day judging process, a panel of seven industry professionals from across the country determined the Silver and Gold Award winners from a field of nearly 1,300 entries.

Kissing Tree is a distinctly Texan community designed with the lifestyle, homes and amenities geared toward the active adult lifestyle of those 55 and better. Homes range from approximately 1,400 to 3,400 square feet and prices range from approximately $289,000 to $500,000. Kissing Tree Golf Club serves as the centerpiece of the community, with a collection of indoor and outdoor amenities surrounding it, including eight pickleball courts, six bocce ball courts, horseshoe pits, an 18-hole putting course, a biergarten, live music stage, demonstration kitchen, community classroom and more.
