Star Wars Meets Mozart

Texas State University Opera Theater is staging a production of "The Magic Flute: Episode I," with "Star Wars" inspiration. The prince Tamino (Pedro Valdez) and Pamina meet for the first time, as the prince comes to rescue her from Sarastro on behalf of the Queen of the Night.

The Queen of Night/General Nacht (Karissa Kim) threatens the villain Monostatos as he offers to plot against Sarastro with her in exchange for her daughter.
