Like many San Marcans, KnD’s Kristan Alvarez and Della Lucio road tripped with their friend Molly Ann Garcia to Southern Methodist University’s Gerald R. Ford Stadium in Dallas to watch the Texas State Bobcats face off against the Rice Owls in the now-iconic ServPro First Responder Bowl, in which TXST won over the Owls 45-21.
Born in San Marcos, Alvarez and Lucio are the mother/ daughter duo who operate KnD’s Boutique on The Square. Together with Garcia, the three showed their support in true Bobcats fashion.
“I’m so glad my mom and I got to witness a part of our hometown making history and winning the bowl game,” Alvarez said. “We enjoyed seeing so many TXST fans wearing KnD’s merch and celebrating the win.”
