San Marcos Premium Outlets hosts Back-to-School Denim Campaign

San Marcos Premium Outlets is currently holding its back-to-school denim drive, “Do Good with Denim” in an effort to support sustainability and positively impact the community through Aug. 22. This promotion is in collaboration with the Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStore, a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center.

In conjunction with this donation event, on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 12 to 2 p.m., San Marcos Premium Outlets will host a “Denim and Desserts” pop-up to share treats with participants in the denim donation event.

Shoppers can donate new or gently-used denim clothing to be recycled at the following San Marcos Premium Outlet locations: Aeropostale, Lucky Brand, Nautica, Neiman Marcus Last Call and Vineyard Vines. Shoppers may also donate to the San Marcos branch of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, located at 2521 N. Interstate 35 Frontage Rd.

Donors will receive a free, reusable shopping tote (one per person, per day). All donated denim will go to Habitat for Humanity Re-Store, which has diverted 37,510,212 pounds of denim from landfills since the promotion began in 1992.
