Spring Lake Garden Club meeting

Locals interested in gardening and the changing weather conditions are encouraged to attend the first meeting of the Spring Lake Garden Club on Thursday, Sept. 14. It'll be the first meeting back after the club's summer hiatus.

The meeting will be at McCoy’s Headquarters located at 1350 North Interstate 35 on the east access road beginning at 9:15 a.m.

The program will be of special interest due to our unusual weather lately. NOAA Warning Coordination Meteorologist of the National Weather Service Paul Yura will do a presentation about unusual weather.

Spring Lake Garden Club membership is open to anyone interested in gardening, especially learning about plants for the Texas weather and local conditions. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from September through May.
