Study.com names Texas State University advertising degree among best in nation

Texas State University has been ranked No. 10 on Study.com's list of "Best Bachelor's Degrees in Advertising" for 2021.

The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, topped the list, followed by the University of Oregon at No. 2 and the University of Alabama at No. 3. No other university from Texas made the top 10.

Study.com cited the Texas State faculty's deep industry ties as a significant factor in the ranking, along with an array of specialized degree concentrations and opportunities to build portfolios through real-world experience.

Study.com's school ranking lists are created using a proprietary ranking system that includes data from the U.S. Department of Education and school details. Some factors considered include tuition rates and availability of financial aid, admittance rates, educational support and resources, retention rates and graduation rates, student-faculty ratio and career resources and job placement.
