TXST Department of Theatre, Dance presents STREAM in Motion 8.0 on March 26
Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents STREAM in Motion 8.0 in Evans Auditorium on March 26 at 4:30 p.m.
Under the direction of Kaysie Seitz Brown, this year’s concert, STREAM in Motion 8.0, showcases performances inspired by science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math. Guest choreographers Amanda McCorkle and Misti Galvan will join the Creation in Motion Touring Ensemble for Young Audiences (CIM TEYA).
CIM TEYA is a performance ensemble made up of Texas State dance majors and directed by Associate Professor Kaysie Seitz Brown. CIM TEYA’s mission is to instill an appreciation and excitement for the art of dance in young viewers while exposing them to meaningful academic, social and emotional concepts. CIM TEYA is committed to creating engaging, rigorously crafted dance works to produce an interactive performance.
