Wimberley Players announces 2023 Summer Outdoor Movies

The Wimberley Players will screen two movies the weekend of June 9 as part of its 2023 Summer Outdoor Movies series.

The series begins with the classic 80s movie, “The Goonies” on Friday, June 9 at 8:30 p.m.

In “The Goonies,” a group of young misfits discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate’s long-lost treasure. A 1985 blast from the past and fun for the whole family. Kids under 10 are free.

The series continues with the Oscar- winning modern classic, “Everything Everywhere All At Once” on Saturday, June 10 at 8:30 p.m.

When an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. This 2022 Academy Award winning sci-fi film is an adventure for young and old alike.

Concessions available on site so grab your lawn chairs and blankets and come join the fun under the stars.
