Caraway given big send-off by county

On Friday, for the first time since 1994, Hays County will get a new tax assessor-collector.

    City honors 1964 Pony League champs

    The city of San Marcos recently honored the Hornets Pony League baseball team by proclaiming Feb. 20 as 1964 San Marcos Pony League Champions Day. Here is the text of that proclamation.

    Fire destroys family's garage

    No one was injured, but a local family was displaced Monday night after fire raced through their garage at 101 Meadow Bluff, located off Hilliard Road.
